If Dallas pulls this out that will be miracle #2. Miracle #1 being a team that barely squeaked into the playoffs and now have the best team in basketball down 3-1. I Don't think the Mavs have a chance.

I agree with Simmons in that this would not rank (for me) above the upset of the Sonics by the Nuggets.

First of all, that Sonics fared pretty well against the Nuggets during the regular season (2-2, but their 2 wins were whitewashes), but they obliterated the Nuggets in the first two games, at home, in the playoffs.

They were so confident that Karl didn't even pack an extra suit for game 4.

In the end, NOBODY saw that coming... whereas this series had some intrigue due to the Warriors domination of the Mavs over the last two seasons. Now we know it meant something.

I don't think 3-1 is that big a lead. It is a given that GS will lose tonight. The only chance GS can wrap it up is Game 6.

Golden state has 2 chances to do it, if they don't do it by game 6, then we face Dallas in the secound round, albiet it a tired dallas.

Did you see games 1 and 2 (and then 3 and 4?)?

The only reason the Mavs won game 2, which was a much closer game than the final score said, was because the Warriors lost their cool. Hell, if Davis and Jackson are in there for the entire 4th, they likely do what they did last game... dominate the Mavs, while Dirk sucks his thumb.

lol 3 fouls on GS in under a minute and a half. Simmons nailed this one in his Dirk critique. Dallas takes this game via a 20+ pt edge in FTs.

i'm with cdxiong... it doesnt matter what has happened up to this point.. theres no way the Mavs are just going to fold tonight...

the Warriors have 3 chances to get it done, but they are riding on pure adrenaline... surely Dallas will show up tonight...

they could still easily lose b/c they're so mentally weak, but the mavs look different. they're just rising up and shooting instead of thinking about their offense so much and playing into the warriors hands. and they actually seem to be moving with some energy. but the warriors are so in their head it may not matter.

Worse free-throw form: Biedrins or Chuck Hayes?

This will be the story of the game....

Mavs will blindly drive into the lane and keep getting free throws....

biedrins. at least after all the hitches, chuck shoots something that resembles a shot. biedrins just chunks it up there on a rope.

damn, mavs hitting everything. on pace for about 200 points.

Of course Dallas looks better... b/c they're playing with desperation.

GS better be careful... this could be 40 point blowout territory.

They probably only have 2 chances... I don't see them winning a game 7, if it came down to it (especially with what's going on in game 5).

There is, however, some precedence... the Pacers blew a 3-1 lead to the Knicks in 1995 (without home court advantage), but still managed to win game 7 at the Garden.

you would've thought they would play that way in game 4 also, so i'm still kinda surprised.

NBA is just a shameless business. How were those fouls when both Terry and Dirk didn't even care about where the ball going, just waited for the foul calls? The Dallas team, having a big lead, a cooking homecourt, and yet they are still flopping like mad? My guess is that they are still going to lose this game.
