Don't you think it rather early to be planning the rotation for next season?
For instance if I tried this I would be flummoxed because I see six of your rotation have a strong possibility not even being on the team next season! :p

I would rather have Harris than having Jefferies.

A lot can happen next summer. It's way too early to predict next season's roster.

I'll say this though: the Rockets should draft a big in the draft.

Morey WILL be making some moves this summer. It's almost useless to start putting combos together at the moment. I get the feeling that somehow three-four of those players will be gone and two to three new players will be coming in.

Why limit the draft pick to drafting a big -- besides the fact that we need a big to back up Yao? Morey knows that draft pick is an asset and he will make the best out of it whether via trade or pick.

Have you not followed this years draft, the best available player will probably be a "big"....

Oh, I agree if all things remain the same. But, in Morey's book... all things never remain the same.

I just felt like the lala put too many barriers on what we should do with the draft pick.

If somehow Morey the wizard turns that draft pick (among other assets) into a top FA, then good deal.

Or if he moves up the draft and has some wild shot at Evan T...

But, yes, if all things remain the same and the pick is not moved, there is a lot of talent with bigs this year (Whiteside ;), Monroe...). Knowing Morey, he loves to go Intl and I am sure he has an eye on Montiejunas (which would be a good pick).

    Rockets potential 4 2010

I'm not tryin to be negative but lets assume we dont get a good free agent in this offseason i think that we will be a 50 win team but not championship contenders...i do think the offseason is a good opportunity to get a good free agent but i also think thats if the rockets dont get any top free agent they should get really good role players and like manu or maybe ray allen which i think they should go with manu if they dont get bosh or amare...ray allen is simply too old to have much time to wait with him....i do think that the rockets will land manu and amare in this offseason and get a couple of other good role players..

I fully (100%) expect Morey to make a major change this offseason. So I don't know yet.
