    and a lot of his garbage (Swanson, Chachere, Decoud, Weah, Moore was resigned in March by Gaine, etc)

    No. Gaine brought Swanson in. Point being he is not only getting rid of Rick Smith guys; some of the "garbage" is his own.

    I'd be a bit surprised if they got anything for him. Teams will likely just wait for him to be cut unless a team like the Patriots wants him.
