yes. Its all about evolution. its like the UFC, during his time Shamrock was the most dangerous man on the planet, but against the modern , more athletic, and all-around fighters, he simply faded.

also its like the international teams vs. the US dream team. Before there was simply a huge gap and now the international players have evolved.

Classic still we're lucky that we have the most dominant center in the game today. :D

He scored over 20 points a game in college and scored 15 for his career with the Celtics despite being the second, third, or fourth option on offense throughout his entire career. He did not have a "lack of offense," he had a plethora of scorers.

What was Russell's offensive ability? Can someone explain. Could he back people down in the pivot? Do hook shots. Make short-range jumpers? Go around people for dunks? Hit baseline fade-aways? Pump-fake and draw fouls? Could he do any of these things, or did he basically get all of his points from easy put-backs of the 25 or so rebounds he would get every game.

Also wanted to ask was he good at moving without the ball such as making back cuts and being fed by Cousy and the like.

Just trying to understand how he got most of his points and what led to his rather low field goal percentage for a PF.
