    The exact same thing happened to me my freshman year. Except I woke up to him peeing our futon. You're right, there really wasn't any good way to tell him the next morning. Luckily, I woke up before him, so I just left a note and bolted. The guy was an awesome roommate, just got way too drunk that night, haha.
