No point; I just found that pic funny and wanted to post it again. What are you now? The picture posting police??
Well nothing too exciting But I had a college roommate that puked in his bed at 4AM in the morning And..yeah that's about it. The smell was quite unpleasant to say the least
I lived in the dorms my freshman year in college. Having played videogames a lot, I had pretty good dexterity with my hands that I could pull my keys out of my pocket, identify the door key in that motion and quickly open the door. Anyways, there would be times when I unlock the door and my roommate would be lying on his bed with his laptop. No reason to lock the door if you're in the room, right? Well, when I got in the room, my roommate would quickly close his laptop, shove it to the side, and act like he was sleeping. I quietly grin and pretend nothing happened. I probably caught him doing this at least once every other week. I know what he was doing. At least he had the decency to wait when I'm gone.
Alright I got a good one. So it was late one night my freshman year and I get home around 3am. I fall asleep and wake up to my roommate stumbling in obviously plastered. He jumps into his bed and mumbles on and on about who knows what and finally falls asleep. I wake up to him screaming where the bathroom is (he's still extremely drunk and had vomited all over his bed.) So he finally gets to the bathroom and I'm just hoping he passes out so I don't have to come in contact with barf. So he finally passes out on the ground and during the night he went into my closet and took my pants and put them on before passing out again. So I wake up the next morning and he's busy cleaning up our dorm room and washing my clothes to make up for the mess. Glad that's over
Girl moves in....and two weeks later I go for the toilet. Bloody everywhere. From the front to the back of the toilet seat, on the floor, one the wall.....sickening. I never come into contact with that seat again! Then about a month later (Yeah.....just yeah.....) there is this terrible smell of death in the bathroom. I start trying to search it out...I should have known better. I can't explain what I found, I've tried to block it out of my mind by screaming myself to sleep at night, but I swear I still have that smell in my nose. So glad I dont live there any more!
So, the earlier Fatty Fat pic we just attribute to the drunken, bad hair, cig inhaling, breast grabbing days. Now, he's on the Love Boat and is the sober, clean cut, rail leaning, "ready to settle down" type. Or, maybe Fatty Fat has an evil twin?
This isn't really a horror story, but I'll share anyway: My best buddy in college was also huge: about 6'3" and 350 lbs. on a light day. He was usually closer to 375-400lbs. and was one of those immensely strong, corn-fed country white boys. One night he and I went to a party where he got plastered and me (about 6' and 180) and a friend (about 5'8" and 165-ish) had to carry his big ass out to his pickup, throw him into the bed, drive him back to the dorms, and proceed to carry his bis ass up three flights of stairs. I doubt the two of us combined weighed as much as he did. I'd never been so friggin' exhausted in my life.
I was rooming with two guys in a 3 bedroom apartment. One of the guys told us that his mom was going to pay for our electricity. So 9 months into our 1 year lease, we get a notice on the door saying that we hadn't paid our electric bill in 6 months, owed almost $1,000 and our electricity would be shut off if we didn't pay in 5 days. When his mom stopped paying, he just didn't tell us and started hiding the bills. Naturally, we didn't have the money to pay and lost our electricity... just as summer was starting. No power for the rest of the summer.
As long as you can have them submit to a battery of psychiatric tests, you should be fine. That, and 24 hour surveillance are always solid policies to have in place.
During my freshman year in college I'm willing to bet I had the strangest/nerdiest roommate on this entire BBS. For starters he was a senior, but somehow still living in the freshman dorms. Not a good sign. He had the stereotypical nerdy look and voice, but that I could have dealt with. It's the other stuff that really made things awkward... First of all, he very literally skipped around campus, and if anyone walked too closely behind him he would start running. He also always tucked in his shirt...even when he would wear a t-shirt and sweatpants. Speaking of shirts, I never once saw him shirtless, but he seemed to have absolutely no problem prancing around in his tighty whities every single night. In fact, sometimes he would sit Indian style on his bed in just shirt and underwear, directly behind me as I sat on the computer, and try to start a conversation with me. He actually did that on the very first night in the dorm! During that conversation, he thought something I said was so funny that he grabbed his ankles and rolled backward on the bed, displaying nothing but his ass and taint. At least he had underwear on. What's actually funny is that on more than a handful of occassions, someone would ask me who I roomed with and before I could finish my description they would say "THAT guy!?". Also not a good sign. Then, as if all that weren't enough, he was also an *******. He had a short temper, and if people invited him to functions or parties he would rudely tell them no. In fact, one night a girl from a Christian student club came by and tried to invite him to a get together, but he literally slammed the door in her face. I'm sure some of you don't believe he was that bad, and neither did my friends back home. So, I gathered evidence (video/audio) that I still have to this day, including that first night's conversation and the conversation that followed after I accused him of wiping boogers all over the shower. Might post some of it later...
I'm leaving in a few minutes...probably for the night, so there won't be anything significant until at least tomorrow...but here's a pic of him sitting on his bed in his favorite outfit (t-shirt and underwear), playing with his toes...or something Spoiler And the obligatory "nerd watching Star Trek" snapshot... Spoiler Of course the real gems are the videos. I'll probably just splice all the good parts into one clip and then post that. Maybe tomorrow.
