apparently 75% think AB will be a starting point guard....i was just curious how many of you actually think he would be on any OTHER team with solid consistent pgs?

Aaron Brooks on another contender would not see the light of day. If Brooks were on the Suns, Warriors, Lakers, Spurs, Jazz, Hornets, Nuggets, or Mav's he'd be a permanent bench fixture. The reason Brooks gets so many minutes is because we are so weak at the PG position. Luther Head came in as a rookie and got lots of minutes because of injuries. This is a similar but instead of injuries we have Mike James, Rafer Alston as our PG's.

Rockets still hold the draft rights on these players. All are currently playing in Europe.

    2007: Brad Newley
    2006: Lior Eliyahu

    2003: Malick Badiane
    2001: Kyle Hill
    1999: Venson Hamilton

scola can easily average in double figure if he just makes his FREE-THROWS..gosh if there is one weakness to his game is free throws..he suck at it..need to work on it more... no wonder Yao always lose the freethrow contest and have to sprint with Scola and Hayes on his team...

Here is what Thorpe says about Scola on ESPN:

As I watch hundreds of video clips and game tape of rookies each week, no player makes me appreciate the NBA game more than Luis Scola. Offensively, he plays the game the right way: moving in space, feeling gaps, making tough catches and tougher plays, and showing creativity with the ball around the rim. In short, he looks like a perfect player for the Spurs, the team that traded him. I still wonder what happened for that deal to go down.

Morey gets no credit for Brooks. A 100% Adelman pick.

Morey get limited credit for Scola. The Spurs wanted to duck further under the LTax and were unsuccessful moving Scola to the EC.

Not sure how much credit to give Morey for Landry. They basically bought the pick from the Sonics and then they signed Hayes making for 3 PF's and costing them more LTax $. A better path may have been to keep Sura's expiring contract around to help with a deal similar to McKie in the Gasol deal. Landry seems to have an upside...but he definitely cost more than average the #31 pick.
