I say Rubio because he is having a bigger impact on his team than Irving.

How many Cavs have you watched this season compared to the Timberwolves?

And the overhype for Ricky Rubio has began.

    Cleveland 6-9

    Minnesota 7-9

I guess a few national televised games in which he wasn't even great in has brought this hype.

So again how is he having a bigger impact than Kyrie. There teams have damn near the same record while Kyrie numbers are better.

I think whichever rookie plays better than the others will win.

Rubio is going to walk away with the award by the end of March and you'll still be bellyaching about it in September, denying Rubio's impact, quoting obscure statistics, and claiming hype.

I really don't give 2 ****s if he wins the award. But saying he has made some major impact on Minnesota is foolish considering they are 7-9 while Cleveland is 6-9. Rick Adelman has the biggest impact on that team.

If Kyrie continues his play Rubio definitely won't run away with the award

Don't waste your time. The worship of all things Rubio is something you can't reason with. The distortion field is too big, therefore, nothing Kyrie Irving does counts.

    LOL WAT.

Barea's been injured for like half the games, and Beasley fricking sucks.

Rubio has one great teammate in Love. That's it. There is no one else on that team who is consistently good.

Why do you think Rubio gets such praise and nothing for Kyrie, when Irving has been very good as well? I rarely hear anything about the kid.

Rubio has one great teammate and arguably the best PF in the league in Love. Tell me, who does Irving have? He doesn't have anybody that would even get considered for the All-Star team............

Rubio is the golden boy on the pedestal right now. It's with some people here that Irving won't get credit because that would subtract attention from Rubio. Most people realize Irving is very good so far.

    Ugh.....

Yes, Kyrie has been very good and would probably be the leading candidate for ROY this year...if not for Rubio.

Just because Rubio is going to be ROY doesn't mean Kyrie hasn't been good. We're talking about the winner, not all the second, third, fourth, and fifth place finishers.

Go smugly ugh yourself. It seems reasonable to question why their are 20 threads on Rubio and 0 on Irving in the last 3 pages.

Yeah I didn't know it was this out of control. People who think Rubio will be ROY is fine but to sit here and say it's not even close at this point is laughable.

With this impact talk you would think Minnesota was above .500 right now.

MarShon Brooks won't let Rubio or Irving run away with the award so easily
