By that age, it's hard to keep the quickness. He's not a plus defender anymore. Can still initiate the offense, which is what the Cavs hope can use as Rubio's replacement, but league is not expecting much from him. The guy starting for Cavs last game is an undrafted 28 yrs old with one year in the NBA Kevin Pangos. Even with a Pangos, I won't be suprised if Bickerstaff still use Rondo off the bench (instead of a starter). Since 2020, Rondo went from Lakers -> Hawks -> Clippers (back to) -> Lakers -> Cavs. Journeyman over-drive. Whatever his value, passing, vet experience, it's harder for teams to keep him around. He's on his way out the league.

Sounds like father of the year material right there. With Father's Day coming up, I guess they can get him a new video game console since he ripped his out of the wall.
His shooting did improve in recent years though. You just hope that he chooses to use spitting rather than shooting.
