Expected this, could be important for ATL. Build a 2-0 lead and this series could end ugly for Boston.
letter of the law and all that, but not really the spirit of the law, IMHO. This is not good for the C's, since they could lose game 2 without him. If the hawks clear the C's out of the way, then the Heat could truly waltz to the finals. Nobody can defense them the way the Celtics can.

Stern said something along the lines that unless you were tripped or were shoved into a ref and it was intended the rule is strict and you can't touch a ref. Okay so explain why the hell do players put their arms on refs backs or shoulders all the times when talking to them or getting an explanation about a call. I saw CP3 do it many times last night. Is that not touching the ref? It's stupid, if the rule is don't touch the ref. No body should ever touch the ref, doesn't matter if you're just talking calmly or yelling/complaining. It's stupid.
Rondo in a post game interview said it was not intentional. ROFL. Anyone with one eye can see he intentionally chest bumped the referee.
He recovered from the trip and proceeded to bump the ref anyway. The ref was right to call the loose ball foul when Smith got whacked in the head. He was also right to throw Rondo out of the game.
