Driving by Ron has not been all that productive his hotspots around the basket are Rafertastic.

Ron is shooting .426 on layups.....that SUCKS !!!

Ron is not an effective driver or in the post this year.

doesnt matter really driving does a lot of other things.

forces defenses to collapse and ron can pass out to an open shot.

ron is a physical player he creates contact so either he goes to the line more often or he gets the other team in foul trouble which helps the Rockets overall since they could get into the bonus earlier and one of the few bright spots this season has been the team's ft%

he maybe shooting poorly right now in that range but I would rather have him trying to take shots 3-5 feet or less away from the basket which are always higher % shots then dribbling around the perimeter jacking up jumpers. That fg% will rise the more he goes inside.


DD you know more than anyone that attacking the rim always yield positive results in the long run, you keep on about Von Wafer's greatest strength is that..Von isn't getting the minutes he should be Artest is getting the minutes he is the only guy on this team outside of wafer that can take inside and not only take the contact but dish out the contact as well and get to the line. I see no reason why Artest shouldnt be getting to the line 6-8 times a game.
