NP C Dave, I have to say thank you for not messing with Ron over the tmac thing. Knock knock Tracy, who's there, second round, what's that?
CDave's show is highly entertaining. Not pressing Ron on the Tmac thing was smart, that is something that should be done by ESPN journalists looking to make a name for themselves...right Jim Gray !!!! DD
Let's not bicker and argue over who shot who. It's just a flesh wound. awesome interview and discussion.
The interview was done on FRIDAY... after the heartbreaking loss to Dallas, and the Rockets figured out they had to play Portland (who just DESTROYED Denver on their home court).
If you look in the lower left hand corner you'll also find a link to the final cut of Ron Artest's new song..."Georgetown Girl."
You know what's disrespectful? Making 20 million a year off the backs of hard working Houstonians, and then gimping around picking other teams in the playoffs....while yours is still competing. I've defended Tracy McGrady for years, and if you listen to the end of the clip I posted, I explain that in detail. But this is documentation of T-Slack being classless. You HAVE TO BE AWARE of what you are saying, and he IS a very intelligent dude. So either he doesnt care, or he's deliberately being stupid. Either way, whatever. And was anything I said untrue? Has he been out of the first round? No. And the rest is all simply being silly.
oops, forgot about the gunshot wound. That's just merely stressing a point that some people play hurt, some do not.
Right on the money Brooksball. By the way, I am loving your boy...don't know if you have any connections with him but tell him to keep being aggressive. This is the Brooks the Rockets envisioned when they made him the starter. They knew he wasn't Nash or Kidd; the guy is an above average play maker and a terrific scorer the likes of a Tony Parker (but with range ) and compliments Yao so well. When confident (which he seems to be now) he is simply a BLUR. They can run a two man game with Brooks and Scola/Yao like Parker/Duncan and when they double down on Yao, teams will pay for leaving Brooks open (something Rafer couldn't capitalize on). I've read in the Portland news feed that many believe the Blazers will try Bayless/Sergio in order to counter Brooks and that this will disrupt the Rockets...I don't think so. Sergio is only a little bit quicker than Blake and Brooks was still burning him. Bayless is closer in speed but is inexperienced and that would hurt them on the offense. Not to mention both players are foul prone and sub 30% 3 point shooters, both of which will help our plan of getting them in early foul trouble and shutting the drive. Now when they kick out, they don't have that shooter out there to collect. Blake is one of their floor leaders, without him Roy will have to do more... and that is excellent. When a jump shooting team has to drive from the get go you are in the right direction as a defense. A team built like the Blazers will wear down if they are forced to not play their game and especially if they also try to get more "physical." I feel good about this series fellas. Brooks for 40 tonight. -V
