And the rockets don't get out of the 1st round without him. He was huge in game 6 against Portland. Probably our best player that game.
Conjecture, maybe someone else steps up... Can't stand the guy, think he is a bad seed...hated having him on the Rockets. And even Morey talks about having to hide everything he did from the media........ DD
I love being the only team that took the Lakers to 7 with no Yao. I loved beating them Game 1 at LA. It was still the most proud and most fun I have had being being a Rockets fan in a very long time. I can do that without them getting a ring.
To each his own, I find it unprofessional....and an indicator of why he is not dependable as a player/person. DD
Artest has too much of Rasheed in him not to mention his inconsistent plays. Not a fan of the Ariza signing either, but oh well.
It was an AIRBALL...hard to box out on those.......got to give Artesticle credit though, he was in the right place at the right time. DD
You know I want him to fail as bad as you do probably. But you know just give credit where credit is due.
Who shot the ball? Stop trying to take credit away from Ron Artest. Yeah Ron Artest makes the shot but is it really because of Ron Artest
LOL, watching this brought back so many awesome memories for me. Like, for instance, what the HELL was that moronic Detroit fan doing squaring up with Artest right after he just got done pummeling that guy in the stands?? Seriously, I HAVE to know this brainiac's thought process......"Hmm, I just watched Ron Artest beat the ever loving CRAP out of that guy.....but he's slightly pudgier than me, so I bet I'll fair better than him." It was awesome watching Artest look at him for like 2 seconds, and then just punch the **** out of him.
You guys got to remember that guy was sitting behind Artest's family and spewing insults at them. Ron shouldn't have done it, but that guy deserved it so... Ron was great for our team last btw. He gave us one of the most exciting seasons we had in a looong time. He played hard, didn't blow up the team like most thought he would, and gave the team personality. I absolutely loved last season.
I really wanted to see Suns win to be at the finals. So we could see the best defensive team vs best offensive team in NBA at the finals That would be cool
Ron Artest brought us the fans much humor and entertainment... he also brought toughness with him... I think it helped the team on that level. I don't think they'd get out of the first round without him.
When Artest went in the stands he didn't pummel anyone. In fact he got the wrong guy who he just grabbed and the guy that actually threw it was hitting him. The only two guys who took care of work in this fight was Stephen Jackson and Jermaine O'Neal.
Doesnt matter in this case...he wasn't boxed out properly. I'd understand if someone was near him and the rebounder misjudged the miss because it was an airball, therefore giving ron an opening, but that wasnt the case. Ron had complete freedom in chasing after the ball because Jrich didn't keep track of him and instead focused on the ball, which is usually fine if you're going to go after it strong, but he didn't. He got taken out by Ron because Ron wanted it more. Jrich saw it, he just didnt want it badly enough. Anyway, my point was it's important to play all 48 mins. I remember fans complaining because battier was praised for always boxing out, but if it was that easy everyone would do it.
