man, Ron Paul is such a badass.. I'm an original Ron Paulite, but I happen to disagree on the mar1juana issue. I was watching it live, and my god, does Ron Paul possess insane persuasive skills or what? both me and my old-school stubborn dad were completely sure of our opposition to the legalization.. after watching the debate, it is safe to say that we're both completely stomped by this issue and would definitely consider the legalization argument..

it's funny because after the thing was over, my dad and I stared at each other simultaneously, shook our heads, and hailed Ron Paul as the most badass amazing politician ever..

Stephen Baldwin "dur dur durrr." I think anyone with half a brain could've made him look like a moron. Doesn't help that there's no good anti-legalization argument to begin with.

I would encourage you to learn more on the subject. There is an awful lot of really good evidence that should be examined with regards to drug policy in our country.

I've been preparing for this debate since I was 15. I can't wait for the day that our government is forced to truly defend the current policy. This is gonna be fun.

I think if everyone voted on the candidate thats policies match them best, Ralph Nader would win in a landslide. Ron paul would probably come 2nd or 3rd, but americans just like to be sweet talked.

Just because he's right on this issue (at least in my mind) doesn't make him a good candidate for president.

Nope, most of the electorate isn't as stridently ideological or passionate these two. More likely Arlen Specter, Michael Bloomberg and Edwin Edwards.

I bet if Ron Paul looked and spoke like Stephen Baldwin, he'd be a lot more electable.

because he wants to abolish the federal reserve (a private bank), limit the scope and spending of federal government, abolish the income tax, end the war on drugs, end corporate driven geopolitical wars funded by american tax dollars...? I guess he would last about a week in office before getting assassinated.

I agree..I think he is like 1 of 3 republicans that I would consider voting for in a lower election. With that said, I'm not sure I want him as my president.

This is why the republican party canidate will never get my vote for major office when they claim to be conservative but the only guy with actually speak on consevative ideas they point out as a mad man.
