Terrorists that are born on American soil should be treated just like any other terrorist. I would say torture them more for being a disgrace.
I admire Paul for saying this even though it will make him look crazy to the vast majority of people, including Republicans.
Impeachment is the proper remedy if he and other congressmen really think what the President did is wrong. So, I can respect it. But, I don't see impeachment on these grounds going anywhere, especially after congratulations from some notable Republicans.
"A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines." Ralph Waldo Emerson Emerson would probably use Ron Paul as an example.

So it's wrong to kill a terrorist at large plotting against us on foreign soil without a fair trial and it's also wrong to give a terrorist a fair trial once they are captured and on U.S. soil. Hmmmm, what doesn't make sense here?
patrick henry said "The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government - lest it come to dominate our lives and interests." i do agree with mr. paul in that our current constitution is too often ignored or circumvented under the guise of freedom. unfortunately mr. paul in unable to articulate his position without sounding like a crazy old kook. delivery can be just as important as the message mr. paul.
He is right. I can respect the fact he really believes in constitution. However I don't think most people will complain for good reason.
“Foreign terrorists do not deserve the protections of our Constitution,” said Dr. Paul. “These thugs should stand before military tribunals and be kept off American soil. I will always fight to keep Kentucky safe and that starts with cracking down on our enemies.” guess who said that? If you said Ron Paul, you get a cookie! Frankly, I think Ron Paul has a point about assassination of u.s. citizens. There needs to be some process there. Before the CIA takes out someone, they should have it reviewed by the judicial system. There needs to be some check to ensure abuse does not occur.
For the record, for those of us that are familiar with Ron Paul, we know he would say the exact same thing about Bush. For better or for worse, of course. You may also have heard that Ron Paul and the GOP don't exactly get along.
