Finally, more people who agree with me that we should keep Artest instead of trading him away in a lateral move...

The rox win more when artest starts. Its no secret formula about it. We were 10-5 early in season with ron starting and shane out.

McGrady and Artest cannot co-exist, at least not yet, or not a healthy McGrady.

If you have 2 Kobes in a team, I'm pretty sure it doesn't make the team better, it makes it worse.

This is why one of them needs to be benched at all times. RA makes the mistake of always playing McGrady and Artest. When in truth, it is most effective when they both play with Yao only.

The problem is, our players aren't like Ray Allen or Pierce. Ray Allen lives off the 3 pt line, and he does a great job at finishing there. Artest enjoys shooting from the 3 point land as well, though most of them are contested. Artest is most effective when he drives in.

As for McGrady, he thrives off players that attack the rim (Scola and Landry) whiles he does a great job at feeding the 3pt shooters (Luther, Alston). Though something is wrong between the 2 that just doesn't allow them to co-exist.

I think the problem is, McGrady's passes ususally requires the players to finish immediately. Like shoot, or do a quick lay up. Whiles Artest requires some iso before finishing.

I think we ought to hold him and if he walks he walks unless the absolute right deal comes along.

new line-up we should try on Tuesday

Yao( hopefully he isn't to tired),
    Artest
    Battier
    McGrady (he will be back!!!!!!)
    Alston

Those are our starters. Rick Used Scola, Artest, Battier, McGrady, and Alston against the Pistons. Now with Yao back he should try this line-up.

    Scola
    Landry
    Wafer
    Brooks

Those are our bench players he can rotate. They say its unusual for a coach to have a 10man rotation but with this rotation and the way Rick balances his minutes this won't hurt to give a try before the deadline. Also this is our last game before the trading deadline so if we lose bad expect a trade. If we win huge i wont expect a trade. I highly doubt they will trade now. Rumors are rumors and they are part of trade talks. Nothing never happens.

it would be very difficult to take scola out of the starting line-up, he's rebounding better and playing better this year, if anyone should come off the bench, it should be either battier and artest getting around 36 minutes a game.

    I hate that excuse.

And excuse me if I havent posted on forums about the Rockets for very long. Guess that means I dont know what the hell im talking about.
Because you do know everyone who has ever had an opinion about their primary sports team only gets to the pinnacle of their knowledge if they blog about them. LOL

Well explain to me why you cant have more than 1 "ball in their hands type players"

KG-in Minnesota 80 percent of their offense went through him.
Ray Allen-Always had plays run spicifically for him
Paul Piece-Almost single-handedly destroyed the Celts organization with his "ball stopper" qualities.

    What changed??

They grew up and matured and realized the concept of "team" and put aside the fact that they wanted a team built around them so they could win a championship

    Moral?

It isnt nessisarily "Ball in their hands" players we have with Tmac and Ron, its selfish "me" players that we have. And neither of them are anywhere good enough to be that type of player.

I would take 2 Kobe's because like the big 3 in Beantown, Kobe is at the point in his basketball career that he is willing to do what is for "the good of the team"

Actually, when I heard Rox got Ron,I immediately realized Morey was begining to plan a team without Tmac, not Big 3.
