Toughness without self-control isn't toughness, it's lunacy. When Ron Ron can't control his emotions, he's just a lunatic on the court. The Rockets learned that costly lesson in game 2 last year when Ron Ron basically tossed out any chance they had of going up 2-0.

Artest knows what he's doing and is not out of control, he's just a great actor. Even when he went after Kobe last year it was fake, he was laughing a few seconds later. He is not a lunatic, more like looney tunez.

Graham is the kind of player the Rockets need.

One who will send a message to the strongest player on the other team that there are no easy baskets.

Perhaps Joey Dorsey could actually turn out to be that guy. The closest we have now is Ariza.

Because Artest plays for the lakers, nothing will happen.

Exactly. The league will probably just send him a note saying "Go get 'em Tiger."

Isn't Graham's foul similar to what Brooks did a few weeks back and got called for a flagrant? Both were hard fouls, but they weren't meant to hurt anyone.

Im sure you have played basketball but when someone fouls you like that in the heat of the moment its kinda frustrating but yeah ron shouldnt have came with a closed fist by no means but fouls like those are just annoying and you could get hurt by them. Graham wasnt even going for the ball.

It's a lot less disturbing then the ACTUAL video clip.

but Artest vs Graham would be an epic heavyweight tilt.

So we basically copied Iowa States's uniform scheme/colors for our alternates?

I for one would like to see Ron go crazy for once this season, just not that same when RonRon is behaving.

At least he didn't take it like a wuss. Obviously Artest can take shots. Think Kobe's elbow as one example in the Western Semis. That's exactly the kind of toughness Rockets are lacking right now.

Over-blowing things man... Ron is intense. You are out there competing, maybe he is frustrated, at the end of the day its a battle no matter how you look at it. Competitive men in the heat of the battle are going to snap when given a hard foul, its not all pats on the back, smiles and rainbows...

Make up your mind! Can Artest drop him or not? Artest is a loser. Now he has to be careful about who he drops? By sticking a hand in that guy's face, he has sent a message to the league - "I may be bigger than you, but I run on my toes, and I'm scared David Stern will suspend me, so go ahead and take all the cheap shots you want."
