    If this is true, wouldn't that really piss off the Lakers? They could have let him retire and then used their amnesty provision on Gasol

    If it does happen to be true, my first reaction would be sadness.

    My second reaction would be joy that retirement would leave him more time to do crazy **** for me to read about.

    I want him to get a reality show. I hate reality shows, but I think his would be insane if he didn't have to worry about breaching a contract with a team.
