Who would you rather have on your team? Ron Artest of Dennis Rodman. Both of whom are known for their own and off court antics. Dennis Rodman to his credit at least has a championship ring. Ron might get a ring if he joins the Rockets.
i think they're actually quite different. Rodman acted a fool, but i think he knew what he was doing. Artest...........well, this guy just has screws loose.........that being said, he'd look good wearing Rocket Red
Actually, doesn't Rodman have 5 rings? He was one of the greatest post defenders and rebounders(obviously) in NBA history, I'd say. He and Pippen neutralized Karl Malone defensively in the 97 and 98 finals. He only weighed about 230, I think, but he could hold his own against guys like Shaq and Mourning. He was a pretty good passer and shot blocker, too, at least in the early days. If you want a perimeter one-on-one defender, Artest. If you want a post defender and interior pest, Rodman. Even though Artest is a bull, he doesn't have the natural paint instincts that Rodman had.
While I usually don't care for fantasy scenarios, I'll play. While Artest is my favorite non-rocket in the NBA, Dennis Rodman is arguably the greatest rebounder in NBA history, a proven winner, is less "crazy" than Artest, and the biggest thing of all... he fills a need for this team (PF). I'd take an In his prime Rodman.
Whoops! Quoted the wrong person. To answer YOUR question... he did have sex with Madonna... according to Wikipedia anyway.
both of them are nutjobs. Could Artest help the Rockets win? Imagina Artest playing along side Yao and T-Mac. Then visualize Rodman alongside Yao and T-Mac. I have to agree with you here. With Rodman's rebounding and quickness he'd really really help the Rockets out in the post.
This is true. Also, Rodman knew his role on the team, Artest thinks he should be the main offensive option. It's important to have role players that are willing to just go out and do what's needed to help the team win. Obviously Artest's offensive skills are much greater than Rodman but he's still got to realize what's needed of him and what's best for the team.
