there's so much more to vernon's story and thuggary that ron artest could never live up to. do you know that madmax was actually a two sport star at university of florida. do you know his stats are wiped off their books because of his early thuggary. do you know that he was sold to the rockets for basically nothing. do you know he lit the spurs up everytime he played them for selling him for nothing. artest is the better player, vernon is a legend in these parts.

Maybe Francis would pick up his work and become a valuable part of the team.. Imagine Francis and Artest pushing Amare when Amare fouls Yao. Dude's gonna crap his pants!
I am all for Artest and have been for awhile. Long before this trade. However I sure hope he isnt the leader of this team. Hes that guy that gets "unleashed" when the leader says so.
Finally a freakin psycho in the building. As long as he doesn't go to far, teams will be shaking in their boots!
Mad Max was awesome and I enjoyed his time here, great memories. Artest and Vern have big hearts and are competitors, that don't back down. But if it comes down to overall Basketball skills Artest > Maxwell.
