That has nothing to do with my point. My whole point was this story or no story this year proves Ron Artest is trying to be any more of a celebrity than these other NBA players.
I was freakin ballin' at the muir courts when this happened WTF i checked out the dance and it was too packed so I just left to ball...I MISSED RON ARTEST WEARIN A KOBE JERSEY but yo op which college you in?
First of all, Ron Artest was making rounds around clubs around San Diego, and the UCSD dance was not some sketchy house party. It was an all campus dance and over 20,000 students in one field dancing their asses off. And Artest was nice enough to allow us to go on stage with him and take pictures and give shoutouts. I dont get the hate. Artest told me "It's all about the fans". He wants all the fans to know that he is just a normal guy, not someone on a pedastal who is too cool to perform at your school. He wants to connect with the fans, and he sure connected with me. He made me and my friends legends at the school for bringing him to our campus, and I'm so grateful that he is cool enough to do this much for a fan.
You know I dont understand the hate either. He played with lots of heart with the rockets and was great to his fans. He was a really nice kind hearted guy. Ok so he is a lakers and I hate lakers but still I like artest. He was tough minded and a pretty good player that help us. I see alot more potential in ariza though so I am happy we have ariza. Anyways I wish artest the best of luck except against the ROCKETS!!!
Glad you guys had a good time with him! It sucks that eventually us Rocket fans will stop caring about Ron and his krazy stories....it was fun to follow him
Could be possible reality show content, building the fan base. So then no rapping about Kobe telling how his ass tastes?
"It'll always be haters that's the way it is. Hater [men] marry hatter [women] and have hater kids..." - Kanye West
Yeah it was pretty sick, I was towards the front when Ron showed up rapping. He threw his Kobe jersey into the crowd before he left. Cool guy.

I think this is my first time that I actually disagree witj DaDa. I really don't see the problem here. He is just a down to earth guy.
Hey if anyone sees a video on youtube of a hoops star doing something cool, I was there, dude. It was because I called him up and was following his tweets and stuff. Promise.
