    Ron is certifiably insane.

Next year will never be different because he can have his buttons pushed too easily. He'll always make the stupidest move that will kill his team's chances. The only way that changes is if he gets serious help and it's obvious he hasn't done that yet.

I just love the way Artest plays, he is the last old-skool type player in the league today with his tenacity, tough physical play, and "bad boy" attitude.

I love that prank he pulled on the Pistons, he was just letting them know that next season THEY will be eliminated in 6:D

Dude is unpredictable, but I just think he is worth the trouble.

Why, because he ripped his shirt off? If assaulting fans didn't put the trade threads to rest, I don't see how this does.

Also, I don't get the Hulk Hogan references. He was bare-foot - I'm thinking more along the lines of Kevin von Erich, Superfly Snuka, Kamala, etc.

Artest would be (sorry for this comparison) the pippen for our jordan (tmac). and plus we have that 7'5 chinese kid. It would championship after championship because I do believe that he can be controlled. Its odd how so many people make him out to be so evil and bad and everything wrong with the nba when there are other guys that really have off the court problems with the law or whatever. I think what artest did is 100000x's better than what Spree did yet people forgot and forgave him. Give the dude a chance. Hes troubled and does have issues but that doesnt mean that there is no chance that he can change for the better.

He was fleeing from a crime and figured no one would check the work out room for him :D

    Shine on, you crazy diamond!

Please, TV people, put Ron Ron and Mike Tyson in a house together, and follow them with a camera. I guarantee the most outrageous television show in history.

I think that the nice people with a funny coat need to take Artest and give him one of those nice rooms with the padded walls.

Ron Artest may be insane but it will be over in a hurry if he takes on Mike Tyson (doesn't matter that he's a washed up fighter)

"He simply walked, bare-chested and bare-footed, into the building, presumably for a midnight workout."
    ____________

Artest is Rodman for the 21st ~ if the Rockets can land him we will win multiple championships.

    He's exactly what we need.

Artest used to box, and Mike's on the downside, but I wasn't thinking actual fighting. Just something more along the lines of a Surreal Life show. You know; absurd behavior, ridiculous soundbites, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together...

You guys are missing the whole point. Mike and Ronny would get along great in the same house! It's the other guests you'd have to worry about.

I think there will be some players who intentionally test him. Should be interesting.

I think Artest could work with the right coach to manage him. Rodman and Phil Jackson is the only comparison I can think of. PJ pretty much let Dennis be Dennis, and IIRC really didn't hold Rodman to the same standards as the rest of the team. Basically, PJ just let him do what he was capable of doing at a given time.

I don't think Artest would work under JVG. JVG's head would probably explode dealing with him.

I don't get what the big deal is? A man has a right to rip off his shirt and barefooted and work out. I actually like Ron Artest more because he shows that he cares and he's gonna work hard to get back next year.
