Those "experts" ride LA so much it's ridiculous. I remember one "expert" saying they are bringing in Artest to guard Roy and others in the league. Did they not watch our series with Portland??? Roy ran circles around Artest.

If this "trade" was the other way around, the "experts" would be laughing at us everyday while they glorify Ariza as the second coming of Kobe.

So far Artest did fine in 2 of 3 games, and Ariza did great in 2 of 3 games. TA did play better 3 games into the season, but Artest did his job. He did the dirty job and shut down the opposition's elite wing. That's all he needs to do. He didn't shoot well in FT and open 3s, but that will come.

I kind of feel Ariza will being more scrutinized now he's having a big game and the league get notice. With the opposition's adjustment and Ariza not being much a play maker himself, he might have more difficulties in offense down the road, whether he can keep it up is a big question mark.

Maybe Artest will be traded back in exchange for T-Mac.

That would only happen if T-Mac is healthy. And if T-Mac is healthy, that would be an absolute steal for the Lakers.

If T-mac is healthy- why do we trade him, again?

If you are going to the game tomorrow, be sure to give Ron some applause. I know there's a lot of hate for him going around but he really did play his heart out here.

Exactly. I agree with you. I was only pointing out that it would not make any sense to trade T-Mac to get Artest back.

Artest has a fantastic game. 20 pts on 6-8 FG, 2-3 3pters, 6-8 FT, 3 reb, 4 dimes, and 5 steals. There's still 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. That's great, even if it is against OKC Thunder.

ya i completely agree. His shot selection is terrible. Arizas shot is much more reliable even if his defense isnt up to artests. Thats why we have battier
