Ron can't stay in front of a lamp post anymore....his days as a lock down defender are 3 years behind him.

Man, I am glad he is gone.

    Remember Ron's grudge against Kobe?

When Ron is trying to prove a point he's a bad player. Proven time and time again.

Nothing to worry about, and if he does do what he predicts it would be no amazing feat...it's not like we have anyone that NEEDS to be locked down.

Dude was a fake kiss ass while he was here. He was about as real as Pam Anderson's boobs.

Honestly, I'm happy to see him gone. And kind of happy he's a Laker for another reason to dislike him.

He was just doing everything he could off the court (kissing ass) etc. for his contract on a new team. He sucked on the court. So there's nothing missing...

I hated how he said the Na Na Na Na hey hey good bye was lame. I LOVED that part of that Blazers game (series winner 2min left). It still gives me goose bumps when they show Yao happy to finally reach the 2nd round.

Good Ridance for Ronald being gone. dude is a nut job.....and an attention w**** on top of that.

Ron is not good enough to defend elite offensive players, but he's good enough to knock them out. So see ya back in your hospital bed Tracy. ;)

Yup. I knew he was an ass when he left us for the Lakers. Now I hope the people that still supported him when he left feel the same way. Fake ass beef with Kobe, he never even intended to stay in Houston anyways. I hope T-Mac comes back and lights his crazy ass up. T-Mac doesn't back down. We've seen him step up for his teammates plenty of times.

Ron wont be knocking out ****.

Ron is going to be following Kobe the whole time and probably ask him for his number in the shower again.

Tell me about it. I mean, is it a coincidence that we gave up fewer points with Battier on the floor than with Artest? Is it a coincidence that opposing players averaged more points with Artest guarding them than with Battier? I think not...

Artest is an overrated idiot. Who honestly cares what he says or does anymore? When his NBA career is over he'll be eating vasoline with Marbury trying to stay in the news

To be fair, was it him or Battier who locked up Lebron at TC?
    Both I guess

Ron will be a headache on the court for years to come for the Rockets.

we should have found a way to keep him

Ariza will show his colors soon enough. Without superstars surrounding him he is average.

    wrong call by Houston

Wednesday, November 4th. The Lakers, with Ron Artest, return to the Toyota Center for an epic rematch of their Western Conference Semifinal series. Tracy McGrady has started the season healthy. The media is all reporting about how this "scrappy" Rocket team was able to push the eventual champion Lakers to 7 games. The Lakers have started out undefeated so far, and look to be just as good as last season, if not better. Kobe, of course, is better than ever. McGrady has pushed a slow return to his old form, and has had a few mediocre but promising games so far. Oh, and then there is the return of Artest. The media remembers his words, wondering what will happen in this interesting game...

McGrady finally breaks the barrier, dropping 40 in his first truly good game this year, while leading these scrappy Yao-less Rockets to victory.
