Ron Artest has a fascination with all things ghetto. On the Carmichael Dave radio show, he talked about wanting to go to China during the Olympics to meet Yao Ming (and see the Dalai Lamas). He said he wanted to see the poor parts of China, too. When Ron visited villagers in Africa, he asks to stay at the most ghetto parts of the village. Ron can be hanging in a resort in Bahamas and still ask the concierge where the ghettos are at in Bahamas. When Ron plays World of Warcraft, he would spend 80% of his time hanging out in the most ghetto part of Azeroth. Ron Artest keeps it real at all times.
Actually, it's just to poke fun at Artest, because most likely he bought a house in a safe, gated suburban community even while he continues to talk about how he's the ghettoist player around.

This thread is just riding Artest's coattails. Artest is the one who made virtually racist equations of black culture to "ghetto" and, implicitly, to retaliatory violence. Implying "I started the brawl coz I'm the blackest" is racist to me; BUT, actually Artest implied "I started the brawl coz I am ONE KIND of blackest: ghetto." I'd like to see him find some better ghetto "culture" than what he has talked about, but I have no problem with this thread. It just echoes his own words and he would have to take the joke, since I'm sure he's not moving to some ghetto.
