To tell you the truth...there is NO neighborhood in Houston anywhere near as hard as QB, or other projects in NY. People from the hood in NY often mistake our ghettos for suburbs, no joke.

He's going to come to Sugar Land to mess up one of the safest cities in the U.S. He will turn it into the hood.

He probably bought a house next to Yao's palace in Westheimer.

And refer to his new million dollar mansion as "the guetto"...

Joking that an NBA player who makes milliions lives in the projects,
is kinda like talking about how a solid NBA player who isn't an all-star sucks at basketball. Keep some perspective guys. Just a little perspective.

You guys think it's funny. But I think some of the comments and pictures made in this thread are kinda racist.

hmmm... i wonder which 2 or 3 players Ron thinks are the better or equal two-way players in the game. i'm guessing KG, Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant. i can't really think of any other players that are excellent or outstanding at both (1st or 2nd team all-NBA and 1st or 2nd team all-defense). i wish i could say the same about Yao, but he's got too many holes in his defensive game. T-Mac has all the tools except strength and mindset (fear or injury?).

It's good that Rafer and Shane have known Artest for years. Both of them will be crucial in maintaining the harmony in the locker room.

this is the truth. I went to chicago and I drove by the projects. freaking 5th ward = River Oaks compared to the projects in the East Coast.

The stereotype that all black people live in the hood/ghetto <-- that's racist in my opinion.

The idiot is the one who called name and then asked a question. And it's you.

Why so serious? Seriously where's your sense of humor? The only reason why this is funny is because Ron Artest himself claims hes "hood" or "ghetto" which may be true to an extent in certain things but in reality you know the guys got a multimillion dollar mansion and ballin out of control which is why it's funny.
