All he gotta do is not flop, and not be confrontational. There is a middle ground. Just stay stood up, that was just ridiculous
I lost a lot of respect from Ron-Ron last night game. That was pathetic. Ron Artest, your suppose to scare people, and there you are getting pushed around by a midget Rondo. Pathetic.
from this to flopping...Kobe sure does rub off on you. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/irtnkEmubqY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/irtnkEmubqY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
He is absolutely killing the Lakers. Although Ariza is nothing more then a role player, the Lakers win this series in 6 with him.
wtf? tmac deserved most of the credit for the streak. that man was puttin up mvp like numbers. in fact because of his leadership during that time he ended up top 5 for mvp. damn dude i mean i know he quit on us, but give him credit where he deserves it.
Well, in all fairness, I don't know if you caught it, but during one of the games, someone threw a stat out there regarding how many finals appearances Phil Jackson has had in the last 20, and I believe they said he has been involved in 12 of them. JVG absolutely praised him, asking if they realized how incredible that was (to the other commentators). He might secretly, but he has really thrown some praise his way too.... On a side note, I have absolutely loved JVG has a commentator for the finals....
Those missed Freebies by Ronald made me smile. Here's to hoping the Celtics win this and keep him away from the trophy...
That's understandable but it seems a lot of people on here actually hate Ron Artest no matter what jersey he could have put on for this season.
There's no guarantee that the Lakers would have even made it to the Finals with Ariza. They may have been even more complacent if they had kept the same roster as last year and could have been eliminated earlier.
I like Ron Artest. I liked him before he played for the Rockets. I liked him when he played for the Rockets. I will root for him again if he moves on to another team besides the Lakers (unless it's Utah or Dallas).
I think Artest played hard for the Rockets, maybe not smart, but he played hard. I don't dislike him for that. That fact that he's a Laker is a big minus for him. The fact that he still has some of the same issues, makes me think we were right to no try harder at keeping him here. I like being right, and I think of that when I see him botch something. That being said, the series is far from over, and even when I smile as he bricks a shot, it isn't personal against him.
LOL that lakers forum is complaining about ABC/ESPN being biased against them, wow...some funny stuff to read if your board check out the "what is with mike breen and ABC" topic
ron artest helped the rockets get out of the first round for the first time in over a decade. and people hate him, for getting credit? no one credits him individually, but he played a major role. I don't think he brought toughness because they already had landry, and I think AB's a tough little guy, but he did play a role.
Ariza would be sucking it up too against the Celtics defense...just jacking up shots and doing nothing...and you all know it.
Yep.... Ariza > Artest? No Artest > Ariza? No Ariza = Artest? Yes. both will have good games....then will stink it up like a party at mazyar's house.
