even 6 of 12 is hard to argue with statistically at the end of the day ... 50% from the arc...

The sole reason we were going to lose that Steve Novak buzzer beater game against the king was because he took over the game. Don't give me that..

Can't believe people are knocking Ron Ron for trying to take over in the 4th, isn't that what we were missing, we wouldn't have gotten that big lead without him. Artest was just trying to get an explanation from the refs and rockets coaches and Deke were just trying to get him off the court, he wasn't bout to chase refs to the tunnel and beat them up. He felt he got fouled and wanted to hear refs decision on why they called what they called. Watch the replays, Lowry for some reason is in the game and inbounds the ball instead of battier, gets deflected into back court, Ron runs up court, looks to Von Wafer who looks open, but is standing at midcourt and has Gordon on him, and looks to his left and sees Lowry who shouldnt even be on court, and he decides to take the game winner, which is what we want. Somebody who ain't afraid to take game winner.

What would you have done different if you were Ron? Wafer defended behind him at midcourt and brickthrowing Lowry. Just give props to Bulls defense and horrible inbound play by us.

that's a nice angle of what happened with ron after the game, shows everything and reinforces what i said about it not b eing a big deal. Before Turner and Deke got to him, Artest was several feet from the refs, just standing there showing them how he got fouled. He was a lot calmer than I would have been if i just got fouled on a last second shot...

one more thing, i'm surprised no one has mentioned that inbounds pass, a player with less fire that ron would have probably let Miller take that away, but Ron pretty much moved him out of the way and got the ball back, so once again, you take the good with the bad, there's always going to be something to complain about and something to praise.

I just want to make it clear I wasn't trying to complain at all. Just showing concern for my boy Ron.

I love Ron. He is my fav player on this team after Battier and Scola. I love the level of intensity he plays with. There is nothing I don't appreciate about him. I just want to make that clear to people. I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to hate on him because of past reputation and such.

It wasn't you, but like the first 5 responses to this thread were, "Ron should apologise, blahblahblah". That was what set me off in particular...

Well at least it was better than seeing Tmac smiling after a loss like that. I used to hate Tmac laughing and smiling after losses. That's why I blame him for everything.

To get psyched up before a game Lebron listens to Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper.

    Ron Artest listens to:

why would ron need to take over a game when we already have a double digit lead? you don't take a game over with a lead like that. you play smart and take high percentage shots. you keep taking 3's the percentage will even out especially when you got someone in your face everytime you take it. it was a ME moment for Ron and i've seen it more than once this year. there is no excuse for for getting only 1 shot in the second half. Ron was just hot from the perimeter but even those shots at the beginning till the end of the game were all bad shots except for the few shots he got from kickouts where he didn't have someone in his face. with ron right now being 250 pounds. he is too slow to take over a game in the perimeter. he can't get by anyone with his dribble. if anything, we go to him in the post. having him chucking on the perimeter is just stupid. it's the same story, taking a shot in the perimeter with someone in your face is always a bad shot even if you make it. we got better options on this team. we don't need to roll the dice with the attention we got against yao.

Ron's scoring is what got us the lead. Yao started to get fronted and Adelman acted like he never seen that before, and everybody just stared at Yao and kept passing ball around perimeter, so Ron got aggressive and tried to score, was it Ron's fault nobody else rebounded, or that brooks got lit up by Rose in the 4th. Ron even took the blame for the loss, cause thats the kind of guy he is, he ain't afraid to admit he did something bad, unlike Tmac who always says its us as a team. He busts his ass every night, and people wanna blame this man for the loss. Rockets lose one game all of a sudden and people think Ron has gone crazy. At least Ron tried to make a play out of nothing, we draw a game winning 3 pt for tm ac and he tries a pull up 3 ptr against wizards i think, and gets his crap swatted. Ron aggressive is better for this team then a nonaggressive artest. Thats what makes Ron who he is.

I for one love Artests attitude. We've been the soft team too long. He worked hard and he was hot from beyond. Ron is the heart of this team believe it or not. If you don't like him get used to it because he'll be here for a while I hope.

Well we have people complaining the past few years that we were too soft, especially against the Jazz in the playoffs when they out-willed us.

Yet we complain that Ron Ron was too "mean" and should apologize???

Give me a break, this man plays with his all, he plays outside of the God given abilities that he was given, and makes the most out of it.

If Mac had half the heart that this guy has, he would have been the best player in the league hands down given his athletic abilities, but he chose to play soft and only play with that ability instead of taking it to another level.

As a fan of this team, I would hands down want to watch RonRon in the playoffs than any Tmac led team.

He wasnt labled the "Spurs Killer" for nothing, whatever seed we get this year, I am not going to doubt this team because I know Ron is going to step up his play and the play of his team mates.

I couldnt say the same about Mac.

Keep it up Ron, were all behind you. And for the ones that are not, they will join the group come May/June.

people that are saying ron bust his butt for this team. or he got us the lead. WTF. you act like Ron is the only one busting his butt for this team. just because he shows emotions doesn't mean he is playing any harder than the other guys. we have a blue collar team now so don't give that crap. it's not about who gets the lead because on any given game it's gonna be a particular player hitting their shots. it's about playing smart. he didn't play smart and was hogging the ball which was obvious to everyone that plays basketball. we have better options than forced 3 pointers make or miss. why are we shooting 3's and taking perimeters shots and going one-on-one instead of playing as a team and taking high percentage shots to sustain the lead? apparently some people in here thinks going one-on-one and taking outside shots being the better way to sustain a big lead.
