I heard on twitter that Tony Romo could actually become a free agent in 2014 and that the Cowboys cant even Franchise him because of the way his current contract is constructed. Unless they extend him, would you want Tony Romo as the Texans QB. This article listed the Texans as a possible landing spot for him, but then again they named half the league too.

I honestly think the Texans are a perfect fit for Romo and the style he plays. Hes athletic and runs bootlegs very well. I believe that this would by far be the best team he has ever had if he were to come to the Texans.

Not sure why the hate towards OP. Everyone always tears apart Matt Schaub and saying we need to replace him, and this is one of the more fathomable replacements. He would be a good fit OP, but don't think Texans would go from a 30 year old QB to another 30 year old QB. Also, Romo is a bit too much of a gunslinger for Kubiak's liking.

Well for starters, Romo is older than Schaub. Should we decide to get rid of Schaub, starting over with a 34 year old QB probably isn't the best place to start.

have you seen him in big games? he throws to the sideline for a quick 2 yard pass...oops picked off by a redskin. He throws deep, supposedly with his huge arm....ooops underthrows his receiver, picked off.
At least when schaub underthrows the intended receiver still catches it.
    NO TO ROMO.
Just start searching for the next qb via draft to groom, if Yates isn't the guy.

I hate the cowboys but I would take romo over schaub. If we are a contender in 2014 I would be open to signing Romo and drafting a young QB to groom.

I won't mind Romo or Rivers or Schaub right now, as all three maybe could use a change of scenery. You're not gonna get a better QB than him right now, so why not roll the dice on a lateral move and hope the upside pays off? I want to believe that Schaub can deliver, but sadly last season's playoff run was proof that he probably can't.

Romo is better than Schaub. Only reason schaub isn't as turnover prone as romo is because he throws it away if there is even a slight chance of getting sacked or his 1st or 2nd options are unavailable. Its easy to avoid turnovers when you play scared. He is a game manager at best.

    Romo plays to win.
