She's actually a lobbyist, they make good coin.

Also, when you have hedge fund types comping you $350 bottles of wine at lunch, it's easier to save $$$.

This is typical of the depths that the liberal left has sunk to. Pointing out bottles of wine drank over dinner.

You guys are hilarious when you're scared!

    panic, via email:

    --
I just got this disturbing report: Yesterday’s Romney-Ryan rally in North Carolina pulled in an overflow crowd of 15,000 people.

There’s no spinning that number. It’s a LOT of people, and the Republican base in energized.

And that’s not all. Since the VP announcement, Romney’s campaign has brought in over 70,000 donations from his Tea Party base.

We’ve got to step up our game and mobilize our supporters — starting right now.

Donate $3 or right now to help us rally our base around President Obama’s agenda >>

Listen to what one Republican supporter said about Paul Ryan: “I love him…He’s going to excite the Tea Party and get them on board…”

We can’t let the Republicans claim the momentum. Donate $3 or whatever you can:

I can see Moochelle Obama ordering a couple of extra bottles and stuffing them in the pockets of her $6,800 jacket before sneaking out of the restaurant.

That is not panic, that is every political fundraising request ever. Check out some of the stuff from your side and then get back to me about "panic."

Thanks, Michelle, for stimulating the fashion industry. I wonder if she wrote off the depreciation on her jacket like a dancing horse.

wow you can see how starved the axis of right-wing nutz has been for something to have a circle jerk about.

it's like a hungry dog being thrown an old rotting bone.

This comes from Reuters yesterday. Net neutral reaction on the Ryan pick, which is being viewed as a pretty vanilla choice.

So Romney, who refuses to release his tax returns because of the naughty information they no-doubt contain about his life as a supremely wealthy businessman...picks for his VP a man whose family fortune is built on publicly funded projects. It's a perfect storm of wtf. The candidate is essentially everything the US public dislikes about wall street, and the VP pick is a poster child for campaign rhetoric hypocrisy.

Following the link I had quoted earlier they state that the meeting with Bernake and Paulsen later in the day so this does appear that Ryan didn't have any privileged info to make the trades.
[rquoter]However, according to The New York Times, the meeting was held in the evening, which raises significant doubt if any member in attendance would have been able to act on the conversation. [/rquoter]
