You, sir, are a very smart man with excellent personal hygiene. And the actress playing Livia is bloody hot. A shame she'll end up only being in 3 episodes.
There's a movie coming out called "The Last Legion", based on the last Roman emperor in the West, Romulus Augustulus. I believe the guy who plays Lucius Vorenus has a part in that movie also. Should be pretty interesting. I just ordered the book the movie's based on and I've heard nothing but good reviews about that book.
Hbo only giving them 1 hr and 15 mins to close the show then it is expected. There was a ton of things to close out and they did not have the time. Well i would have loved another season or two so we would never have to advance as fast as we had to, but oh well I guess.
I loved the show and i think they wrapped it up well as they could have. I am really going to miss it, and hope it will spawn some other similar shows (Ancient History Dramas i guess) The acting and production was top notch. Now when is Big Love coming back on?
So I remember hearing that they were getting rid of Deadwood to focus more attention on Rome. So now Rome is gone and apparently there is only one more season of Deadwood. Wtf?
Definitely did not go out with a bang, but still a quality ep...I am saddened as I loved this show...There are so many more stories to tell and with great acting, great sets and great stories, could definitely gone another season or two... I hope Sopranos delivers... RIP...
There is not another season of Deadwood. They agreed to make 2 2-hour episodes to wrap things up...but not sure if they have even started filming yet. I liked the last episode. I mean, they only had 1 hour and 15 minutes to wrap up so many loose ends...I though they did a pretty good job. I was disappointed that they had to skip right through the battle, but I was happy with the way that it ended for the most part, except for the death of that one character.
