Great episode...Fast forwarding a lot, but you get the jist of it...Vorenus finally got laid, thank god, but he's still an ass...The alliance was crucial and made sense...The senate scene was great and shows how ballsy he was...I also read where he was a freak, so its kinda cool they stay away from that part...focus on the history of the republic...btw, the orgie scene was kinda cool...Daddy likey... Other than that, i can't wait for next week...
Good episode, but not historicaly correct, according to Wikipedia. Cassius and Brutus both committed suicide. Cassius had his slave kill him, but most people would consider that suicide. Actually, the way Brutus' death was portrayed, most would consider that suicide.
Great love scenes (Octavia), great battle, great episode...I wasn't sure about the historical accuray of Brutus dieing, as it seemed more Ceasar like, IMHO...I agree that this is the best one yet...I liked what they did with Cicero throughout the entire series...Vorenus and Pullo are my favs...
i just now got to watch it. HOLY CRAP that was an awesome episode.... too bad cicero had to go, i liked his character, i'm glad brutus and cassius are now dead. and a nice love scene with octavia, much better than the one one she had previously with her brother ewww. i was expecting the blind guy to walk past and say "5th hour. 5th hour"
Cicero's death scene was one of the best television scenes in recent memory. The actor who plays him was pretty impressive.
Yes it is, just wait till you see what happens to Marc Antony ! But I think there are only 4 shows left, right? Dang !! Augustus Ceasar.....Octavian......is generally regarded as the best emperor and ruled for like 41 years.... DD
Entire series. HBO pulled the plug on it so there will not be any more Rome after this season which is horrible.
i've seen all of the episodes, so i didn't miss it but i don't remember it at all... it was between octavia and pompeii? i thought she had only been with her brother and then with the wench mother of brutus.
I loved how Marc Anthony put Octavian in his place with the urinate comment and then charging into battle leaving behind Octavian looking like useless wuss.
Octavian has already defeated Antony.......and Octavian will get back at Antony and his arrogance ! DD
Nope...b/c of the oscars I think, but they did play on an ep on superbowl sunday...it'll be on next week..
Spoiler ding dong the witch is dead!!! i was looking forward to her death as much as i wanted tony soprano's mom dead.
