I've had enough of this "equality" business, cuz of this kind of stuff here. I'm calling it:
Long after we're gone centuries from now, men and women will start removing their genetalia or swapping ithem "to get a broader perspective", and transexuals or asexual people willl start to rise in prominence cuz the gender thing "isnt working", or something... If THATS HOW YOU NATURALLY ARE then fine. But if its to "prove a point" I dont know where people are going with this and scared far they're willing to go with it...

My uncle said something SO simple last year when I talked to him - Let a woman be a woman, Let a man be a man ...

The impact of that little saying almost floored me how overlooked a concept thats become

I don't see any problem with setting expectations. I have no problem telling the girl I'm dating that she better have a job if she wants to take this relationship further. Because I don't want to work my ass off and use my salary to support the family while she doesn't bring home any income. It's my expectations, if she doesn't think she can do it, then she can go find someone else. What's wrong with that?

Speaking of, I talked to an old friend of mine the other day. He's been on hormones for 3 months (the question I have is when do I go from pronoun "he" to pronoun "she"? I'm not exactly sure on that one). I don't think he'll (she'll?) have an easy time passing at 6'8", but hey, it's all good.

    That said, ba-dow.

Dude we have an ex NFL football linebacker that is a client and acts more like a chick than some of the women I know. I don't know if she has had the surgery to change the pronoun, but by god I knew by talking to her when it was supposed to change ;)

What's really funny is, when she gets upset, the voice gets deeper and deeper!!

Her name is Ginger now and she runs a bar in Cincinnati.

Ginger. Could she have picked a worse name? Two types of women are named Ginger: strippers and transsexuals. Unless your mom is named Ginger. In that case, it's strippers; transsexuals; and fine, upstanding, wholesome women.

Oooookay, thanks for those responses to my comment...I got answers
Back to the original point? :)

It seems to me (my very NON-expert opinion), some women go traipsing through their younger years seeing where they stand. Seeing what their "worth" is, if guys get em stuff, all the while doing frivolous spending running up their own expenses and debts.

Then when they look to settle want Poindexter the kinda nerdy safe, stable consistent guy to take her in and offer some security. And chances are Poindexters probably feeling HE'S lucky to have such a beautiful well rounded woman, and HE will feel obligated to do what it takes to keep her around. And take care of all her needs (run-up credit cards, student loan payments, etc)

Which is okay. Women can fool around with the musicians/actors/athletes experimenting and working out their wild oats before marriage, just like a man does. As a guy I'd feel more secure marrying a girl thats a 7.5 and domestically compatible than a 8.5 to 10 girl who's high maintenance and quirky. I suppose women might feel the same

Or the Poindexters are all that's left to marry when she finally gets around to wanting to settle down.

Wow, best female man? You must be a metrosexual or very femine. Every guy I knew that had more females friends (platonic) than guy friends were that way. I just hope you have at least one guy friend that you can talk to because women just don't understand men and vice versa. You know what they say, you become who you hang around. :D

My guy friends are scattered all over the world.

However, one of the most advantageous aspects of having females as best friends is that they have other female friends. ;) Sororiety sisters, cousins, etc... Can you dig it?
