all you need is a card and a pen. personalize the card with a "just because" message and place in her car the morning before she leaves for work. she'll think about you all day and you'll get the "happy ending" all night. trust me, it's simple and efficient.
If you can't cook, order takeout and have a candelight dinner awaiting her when she gets home. Things like back/foot massages help as well. Try to go out of your way to tell her how pretty she looks (is) as much as possible. Take her out somewhere...someplace she wants to go, even if you hate it.
