i dont think you guys are talking about the same things. i think he just meant that its a positive thing that the youth of this country and every generation that passes becomes more tolerant of people that are different. 10 or 15 years ago i dont think i would have ever seen a president that looks like barak obama.

he isnt saying its going to make specific things better, but its surely a positive thing though.

    Hehe.

I am not an American, but may I say that I love the Tea Party very much? :p They give us so much entertainment with their drama, wants and needs. Also, they make me feel smart

Seriously, if I were Putin, Ahmadinejad or Hu Jintao, I would donate USD1 billion to the Tea Party's political coffers. No faster way to kill America than to have nutheads from the inside doing it

P.S. It would indeed, be an entertaining thought to wonder how someone like Sarah Palin would fare when she goes up against Putin.....

Your daily Irish bond yield update: they are rallying like crazy this AM!

Why? Austerity, you say? No. not even close.

In fact, the exact opposite - a 50 billion euro bank bailout by the Irish Government.

In order to ignore this mind blowing development, weslinder and all the rest of you austerians I suggest you close your eyes, a la George Costanza, and chant " AUSTERITY NOW! AUSTERITY NOW! AUSTERITY NOW!" It will work. Trust me.

I'm 57. One of my best friends, the one who turned me on to black blues music in 1968 and has a collection of hundreds and hundreds of blues albums, sends me teabag crap everyday.

The cognitive dissonance of his two passions seems lost on him.

More from the speech I listened to from Dr Klineberg:

(sic) "It's ok to be against ineffectual government, we should all support that. But to be against all government? That only works if you're rich. The poor in this country, in any country, absolutely depend on government to advance their situation in life. As Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis stated, 'We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both.'"

One more vent and then I'll stop.

Good friend of mine is the epitome of what Teabaggers hate. Just had a kid last year from some loser who knocked her up. Medicaid paid for everything because he barely works and she doesn't. She is on housing, WIC, UE because she lost some retail job, foodstamps, the whole nine yards and is looking to go back to school on pell grants provided under the stimulus. She is now pregnant again from this same loser. She hates Obama with a passion and loves Palin. I commented that it's Palin and her ilk who would see her as irresponsible and as a drain and would love nothing better than to see all of her socialistic government subsidies disappear and that it's Obama who created that increase in pell grants, unemployment, and Medicaid.

She says yeah but people shouldn't complain because it's all just for her kid. Two kids now I remind her....

If Palin runs in 2012 she'll be the first in line at the polls even though she has never voted before.

How in the world do you argue with these hypocrites?

I think lots of women support Palin who do not necessarily support her politic views. This is because of her choice to not abort her down syndrome baby (sadly, 85% of babies diagnosed with down syndrome are aborted ) and because she stood up to corruption in Alaska, unlike Obama who emerged himself in corrupt Chicago politics. Neither of these things have to do with her economic principles or stance on entitlement programs.

Do you actually believe the crap you write?

Sorry I forgot that Palin is such a shining beacon of virtue. Especially since, with no warning she abandoned her supporters in Alaska and her responsibility as Governor amidst a cloud of ethics inquiries to go on a national book signing and speechmaking tour. Not to mention as she has stated she contemplated aborting the child while in New Orleans but chose not to do it.

The main reason she didn't go through with that abortion was because if anyone found out her career would be OVER. Not even the most myopic teabagger who ignores the rest of her stupidity and hypocrisy could overlook that.

"no warning"? She gave two months notice I believe. She was cleared of every single ethics charge. This was fairly easy to do since most the charges were ridiculous crap.

She thought about it? so what? I have murderous thoughts every time I have to hang out with my relatives. Sue me.

How do you know why she didn't go through with her abortion?

Right but Obama's Chicago corruption syndicate is pure truth right?

My opinion, but only a fool would not believe that it didn't play a part.

he started his career in one of the most corrupt political environments in the country and did nothing to fight it, unlike Sarah Palin who took out that guy when she was on the Oil and Gas Commission in Alaska. In fact Obama embraced it (Tony Rezko for example).

Why couldn't she have wanted to have the baby out of love or moral obligation. Your opinion seems very bias and unfair to her. I could just as easily claim Obama got married and had kids just for his career.

Whoops! You've bought into the spin, and abandoned the facts (Tony Rezko for example).

Palin was fighting corruption? hahahahahahahahaha! Look back at her record, and her claims of cutting govt. down to size and compare them with the actual facts

Do you have sources stating otherwise?

The great part about this thread is that all the usual trolls and 'tards have been utterly, absolutely, completely silenced. Honestly, after that article, there really is nothing more to say.

Accordingly, nonne of the tea party fan club here, no thumbs or giddyup, all we got is basso desperately trying to redirect with a recycled cool story bro regarding the one time he read rolling stone 4 decades ago, tallanvor - a "newcomer" who somehow, some way, some people haven't figured out yet -- waving a Palin lure to whoever will take it, and pretty much nobody else even venturing in.

A few other miscreants gave it a half-try, but, when it's over, it's over.
