How great is this list? Crazy by Gnarls Barkley was the hottest lick in a long while, hence its number 1 stature.

There's no reason Rebellion (Lies) by Arcade Fire should be that low. That song is AMAZING.

As far as the pop section goes, Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams should be much higher than where it is. That song smashed the charts pretty hard. Just saying...

"Since U Been Gone" in the Top 20??

The list was bad from the start, but I just stopped reading at that point.

Has anyone ever noticed that on Rolling Stone's Top 50 bands or whatever, Pink Floyd isn't on it? What is up with that?

It has, but how are you gonna hate on Jay Z at #2, personally I find 99 problems as one of the most under rated songs of all time, and Jay Z gets a lot of credit, but did you know he hadn't had a single reach #1 on Billboard till late this November.

I have a problem with the KanYe songs on this list, Jesus Walks I find to be in a good position, but I find Gold Digger to be one of the most over rated songs. All KanYe fans know that Through the Wire and Stronger did more for KanYe's career and for the music industry, and I would even say Heartless did more than Gold Digger.

Crazy at #1 is really crazy, bad choice in my opinion.

I feel like Alicia Keys and Black Eyed Peas got the short end of the stick on this list.
If I Ain't Got You? No One?
Where is the Love? Don't Phunk with my Heart? Lets get it started? My humps? Bom Bom Pow? I Gotta Feeling?
I feel like those two should have got a little more respect from the list.

Someone that watches A LOT of disney channel probably made that list...not even MTV which is pretty bad...all those songs being up on there is a disgrace, pretty much no rock or alternative in the top 2o

what you call alternative.. is now mere "independent" re-workings of previous music..

    not very "alternative" is it..?

Missy Elliot with 2 top 25 songs??

    What a complete POS.

There were maybe 5 songs on that list I can even tolerate.

I thought Yeah with Usher, Lil Jon, and Ludacris would be on there for sure.

Every time I think Rolling Stone couldn't possibly make a list worse than their previous lists, they prove me wrong. There were only a handful of good songs on this entire list.

This is definitely one of the ten worst songs I have ever heard.

You must listen to a very small subset of music then.

    terrible list IMO

i havent listened to much radio in the past 2-3 years so a lot of songs are unfamiliar to me

but Stan by eminem should be higher I think that is a great song

and at least to me one of the most GLARING omissions on the entire list is that there isnt a single Linkin Park song on there when they were probably one of the most successful if not most successful bands of the 00s
