77096 - still no power 12 days later. Found out last night that on my block alone there is one down power pole, one heavily damaged power pole, two drops that are down, and one homeowner had the power meter ripped from the back of their house.

There is power all around my area...just not in my little 6 block enclave.

    :(

    77379.

Tree company came and removed 1 out of 3 trees that were down on the power lines which are on the ground. This was two days ago and they didn't return yesterday.

Going to be a while, hopefully a miracle happens today..

Is the power on at your place, or is the power on all around you yet you are without power?

The power came back on at my place around 4:00 yesterday, it was such a great feeling to walk into an air conditioned house after work.

My power is on, and it appears most of it has been restored, although there are still pockets without power.

good lord. I'd heard that bender's was further down the line, but that is just wrong. I'm still out in spring trails and am starting to lose it. If they end up with that projection for us, I don't know what I'll do.

The fact that I haven't hung myself yet is a miracle.

9/25/08. I'm a 22%-er now. My entire neighborhood is still dark. Apparently treetrimmers came through during the day yesterday, because there were 4 newly-sheared large branches lying near my back fence when I got home. I looked up and they had trimmed easement trees around the electrical wires.

Tomorrow will be two weeks without power. I am feeling very fatigued.

    :(
