Thank God, finally got power back today. Of course Comcast is having problems and getting through to them is nearly impossible.
Still no power as of 6AM today 9/23/08. The neighborhoods south of me (across Willowbend) and west of me (across Chimney Rock) are all lit up, while my neighborhood and everything to the south and east is pitch black. I'm starting to go freaking nuts...even more so than usual.
You must not be too far from my fam in 77025. They were also still without power as of last night although the people directly across the street have had power for days.
Do you live across the street from the house that burned down like 10 years ago on the corner of Chimney Rock/Willowbend?
i live in 77055. supposed to get power yesterday but didnt. some areas in my zip code have power, some dont. i hope i get the juice today. pretty pretty please.
Please let 77345 come back on today. Not sure if I can handle my in-laws staying with us for another night...
What part of 77055? I'm in the same area, and haven't checked it out yet. I know there are TON of trees all over a bunch of lines there.

I'm about 3 or 4 miles from 77025. I have a close friend who lives in 77025 who does not have power while several houses all around him on his same block do have power.
near the walmart grocery store off wirt and longpoint power crews cant get everyone up bc there are still a lot of fallen trees that are in the way.
Power's back on!!!! I went home last night when my dude told me there was power... YAY, I missed my big sized bed!
Still in the dark in the 77386. Scheduled for Thursday, but there is supposed to be an update to the schedule today. At this point I expect it to be pushed back for us....
Yup, we are now 27%'ers... although going from 36% to 27% in one day makes me have slight hopes that the power may be restored in the next few days. I had to sleep out at work last night on a cot, and shell out 400 bucks to fix my car. I'm already strapped for cash and the eating fast food almost every meal was killing me. Just trying to survive :/
