77379 (Klein area).....I just got power back yesterday sometime in the late afternoon. If you look at the website though, I wasn't supposed to get it back until after Thursday.
Unfortunately Had power restored last Sunday, but a neighbor's tree was leaning on a line and caught fire, so it went out 20 minutes later.
Damn, that sux... My parents (Pearland) are still w/o power...They think it'll be after Thursday...I was suppose to come into town but will wait until a later on...My boss is organizing a trip to help clean up neighborhoods with his church so I'll go down for that in the next couple of weeks...
Same here, my weather head was ripped from the wall. Had no idea what a weather head was before the storm. Finally was able to get someone available to come out this week. We'll see what the damages come out to be.
My weatherhead wasn't damaged, even though it is as old as the house (1954)....but my power lead (the line from the power pole to the weatherhead) is draping over a tree in my backyard and hanging about a foot off the ground. My little neighborhood is so tore up that they will have to go house to house.
It's gonna take you a while. I hope you will not have to deal with the huge amount of maggot carcasses I have seen.

crews were out putting up new poles behind our house today, but they said it wont be until thursday or friday that we get power. this. is. getting. OLD.
Yeah not having power is enough to reduce someone to a psychopath. Miguel, I will be hugging your TV when the power is finally on in the apartment. I never knew how much I would miss lounging around that place watching the big screen, all three of us on laptops. P.S. Cleaning out all the rotten food will be a biotch. P.P.S. But I AM READY. Praying it comes on tomorrow.
