I agree. I could not get over the over coverage of this. I understand that it is a big story in houston, but I just didnt think it would have that kind of national appeal. The pitch count at the bottom left was absurd. Anyone else notice that they had a pitch counter for Clemens but they didnt keep track of the count to the batter?

I'm think I'm more excited to see how Anderson, Pence, House, and the other AA prospects perform than I am to see the Rocket make another start... should be fun to watch. Some of these young guys aren't that far away from making the big leagues.

Yea, they're showing it... I think u can also watch it online, but you have to subscribe to MiLB.tv (I don't know who is diehard enough to actually subscribe to minor league baseball for the entire year).

Hmm... they might be doing it based on region then... only those in the Houston area, or those who get FSN Houston...?

Damn, that blows... they had the Comets game on here before this one... if that thing had gone into overtime, and caused the game to be pre-empted, there would be a lot of people over at FSN with major egg on their face.

Roger looks to be mixing in a lot of breaking stuff with his fastball tonight... has a 1-2-3 first inning, with 2 K's.

Gotta love those 4+ hour American League games... we'd all get a lot less stuff done if the Astros played in the junior circuit.

The park looks pretty awesome down there in Corpus... gonna have to make a trip down sometime.

    They said 75-80 pitches.

He just finished up the 2nd inning.... strikes out the side in order.

So far, he's faced the minimum (6), struck out 5, and he's only thrown 22 pitches. At this rate, he could throw a complete game  .

Roger's got the good splitter goin right now... the one that stays in the K zone longer, before breaking down by the hitters ankles. That's the one that's more of a modified curveball, and he's actually able to get some called strikes on that one.

Nice... Pence had a RBI single... dude looks like a giant in the box (really tall, but hasn't filled out all the way yet).
