Me too. Clemens is a phony. The thing that he really should be getting fried over is all the crap that came out about him and Mindy McCready. He screwed that girl up mentally.

Roger Clemens and Andy Pettite worked extremely hard when they were with the Astros. When I worked the score board they were out on the field hours before any other players were. They were regularly jogging miles, doing stretches, playing long toss and even in the side pen for literally hours.

I don't think anyone should question Roger Clemens work either. If you do not want him involved with the Astros because he is a cheater, I can respect that, but I can tell you that you would be surprised by how many players cheated during that period. There were very few players that were not taking ephedrine or steroids/HGH. I find it funny that the ephedrine issue is never discussed... they were par for the course.

Shane Reynolds was gone by the time I was working the scoreboard, but I can tell you that the supposed "cheaters" in many cases worked harder than the clean players (the exceptions being Biggio [who has his own skeletons] and Adam Everett for a short period).

Not really, other than to say that the owner was the only one sad to see him go.
