Roethlisberger in Motorcycle Accident

BR was riding a very fast bike ~ no cruiser, hopefully he was being safe when it happened. I have to say I never known anyone to have a sport bike that didn't push the limits of the motorcycle from time to time.

Local talk radio says Ben talked to Bettis on the phone and said the knee injuries were minor and shouldn't cause him to miss regular season games.

Either way, hes an idiot.

I hope he his surgery was a success and that he'll be the same person and player but riding a Hayabusa without a helmet screams out all sorts of idiocy

 

Just curious, would you add this incident as part of the "EA Sports" cover curse? I know it wasn't Ben on the cover, but Cowher is on the cover of that waste of a game "NFL Head Coach" which is coming out on the 20th in a week.

Boy, who could have seen this one coming? Just another dumb athlete who I have absolutely no sympathy for. This guy was pretty much tempting fate. Everyone knew he was doing it, and he basically defied the Steelers. After Williams and Winslow, you'd think a guy would learn.

Reminds me of the nba players continuously going into the stands. Artest does it, gets suspended. Davis does it, gets suspended. Mbenga does it, gets suspended. No sympathy from me, regardless of the circumstances. Pretty much an IQ test.

Well if Ben is going to be missing most of his teeth he might be able to make Cowher go "OH".
