Scola is too old for ROY. I dont think he will get it. Although skill-wise and impact-wise, Scola should be the ROY.

Durant's stats is not that impressive. Al Thornton or Thaddeus Young can put up the same numbers of Durant if they have played the same minutes and taken the same number of shots.

Only because Durant is in a lottery team that doesnt mind to lose and doesnt mind bad shots make Durant the ROY? WTF? Anyone in a team that has 60+ losses doesnt deserve to be ROY. As simple as that.

What will Durant say after he gets the ROY award?
Durant: I am happy to help my team lost 10 more games than last season. We have achieved a good 60+ losses season.

Scola can put up 20/10 if he palys for the sonics in place of KD.

Durant's numbers are actually much better than I thought. I figured he would end the season averaging just under 20 but with a FG% of below 40%. I predicted he would be a bust but he might become a good player after all.

I agree that Scola could put up great stats on a bad team like Durant and Horford (I know Atlanta isn't that bad but they are not very good). I see no reason why Scola could not average 18/9 with a respectable FG% and all-around game.

Oh well, I'm sure he prefers being on a playoff team rather than being ROY on a lottery team or a team in the East that has no shot of doing anything.

I acctualy think he does deserve it........We would not be in the playoffs without this second half of season run..........It started when he started in the starting 5

I don't care if he win it or not. I just want to let everyone (the rest of the country) knows how good and important he is to Houston success. I will vote multiple times.

Still needs an additional 3 points....

So if he averages 11ppg over the final 4 he is there....or he scores 13 in the next one.

Anyone know his numbers over the last 30-40 games? I would think we can expect at least that much next season.

If he is a 14/8 guy then I'm more than happy.

Well, since most Chinese sports fans are so angry at something else now and have no time to think about the Rockets yet, I would say that there will be no miracle and Scola's chance to be ROY is really slim, considering the votes he is getting now.
