Allegedly there were 20 teams inquiring about Hood and this is the best Utah could get? Cleveland made out like bandits there. Utah gets practically nothing. Sacramento gets nothing, but at least Hill's contract is bad enough that getting cash and a 2nd rounder for him isn't completely ridiculous. But there had to be a market for Hood, and instead they take scraps from a dysfunctional team, both of whom were awful this year.
I doubt seriously that Tyronn Lue is up the historic challenge of trying to bring this cluster of players together around his remnant of a team. Even with LeBron and all these additions, are these guys are that much better than Detroit? They now have the size to match up with LeBron on the frontline and if there shooting comes together, look out. And Toronto, again, that's a team built to contend with LeBron. George Hill and Clarkson haven't been great two-way players. Nance Jr. is young. Hood is solid player, but is he a #2 scorer?
This is seriously fishy and reeks of tampering and all sorts of violations behind the scenes. There's no way you're going to tell me the Kings and Jazz could not do better than those deals for Hill & Hood, just not true. It's like the time everyone helped out the Warriors to sign Iggy, but way worse. At least East is somewhat interesting again.
LOL. After a hard fought OT game last night, the Cavs traded half of their team. Why do teams want to help them keep LeBron?
Wow great move by the Cavs. They got rid of pieces that dont fit well and git guys that will play well next to Lebron. Why did Utah trade away Hood? He's like an up and coming Harden. Final Tally for Irving trade: Upgrade of pick to lottery Hill Hood Nance Jr Clarkson Pretty good deal IMHo.
They mighr use the Bkn pick to trade Thompson for De Andre Jordan. Cavs are looking great lol. Now they jist need to replace their coach.
Great get for Cleveland. Still think their deal of a 1st to LA was stupid, but rest of the moves were tremendous. Hood is a great fit there. A really good young player that can shoot the 3.
Considering that a reasonable number of Wolves fans are really just sad Bulls fans, this isn't surprising. There's a surprising number of people from Chicago that follow the Wolves now.
Well West teams probably don't want to create another superteam given LeBron is rumored to only go to West teams like GS, HOU, LA, or SA
