Do you even know what you're saying? MJ doubled, Pippen one on one on LBJ, doesn't this mean Rodman will be left alone? Rodman isn't a r****d,he averaged 11 pts in his rookie year. I'm pretty sure he knows how to dribble the ball and then lay it up without anyone guarding him.

Anyway with all 6 players in their prime the Bulls will beat the crap out of Miami, and this is coming from one of the "new school" fans of the NBA. The matchups will be MJ vs Wade, Rodman vs Bosh and Pippen vs LBJ. MJ will dominate over Wade as much as LBJ will dominate over Pippen, so I guess you can call that an even matchup. Where the battle will be won is on the boards, where I fully expect rodman to grab 100% of rebounds available, block all incoming shots, and then make Bosh cry like the p***y he is. Rodman is one of the smartest and nastiest players ever. He'll definitely elbow, knee and basically cheap shot Bosh all game long. And Bosh defend Rodman? Are you ****ing kidding me? I doubt Bosh will be even able to get close to the worm, much less play defense

I think you're also forgetting that players back in the day were much more complete than they are now. Majority of the players back then finished all four years of college and basically got coached/developed more before they enter the league. The idea that Rodman wouldn't know what to do with the ball in his hands if left alone is just plain ridiculous has no basis whatsoever. Chuck Hayes can dribble the ball and layup it up, can he not? What the hell makes you think Rodman can't do the same as well?

What's with all these retired players claiming to be better than the current ones? I am waiting for Wilt to come out of his grave and make some claim of his own. :)

Across-era comparisons are extremely subjective. And the past greats are called "legends" with good reasons.

but what would rodman do offensively? it's hard to win when you have to play 2 on 3 offensively.

and pippen wasn't a great 1-on-1 offensive player. jordan is the only one who can create for himself in any type of setting.

it's a closer matchup than people would like to make it out to be.

Jordan would shut Wade down, Lebron gets shut down by Pipen, and Bosh will just shut himself down....
but seriously, have you not seen Jordan play? the physicality and the mentality of that guy is just unbelievable... he will score on Miami's "big 3" with ease

Rodman was actually not a shot blocker at all. He never averaged even close to 1 blk/game. But, you're right about who would win the game. Jordan was easily the most physical wing player in NBA history. There's no way Miami would be able to keep him under 40/game.

jordan will be unstoppable; that's a given.

but you're overstating it by saying he'll "shut down" wade.
and pippen will not shut down lebron. ron artest in his prime couldn't slow down lebron, how the hell will pippen shut down lebron.

i'll give the nod to the bulls b/c of jordan alone. but please, make some logical arguments. nobody is shutting down anybody here.

Wrong. You put Pippen on Wade and shut him down. Put Jordan on LBJ and let him mess with the King's mind so much that he's putty after a few minutes.

I don't see anyone playing the psych games like Jordan and Bird used to do. Rodman was no slouch in that department and would probably pretend (?) to be gay so Bosh wouldn't come near him.

And Vice Versa....... Jordan on DWade... Absolute Lock..... Bosh would be owned by Rodman. It's funny but looking back, the Bulls were 72-10 more because of their defense than their offense. I think Bosh/Wade could possibly double MJ, but LBJ would have a hard time defending both Pippen and Rodman. Especially when it came to keeping Rodman off the boards.

3 on 3 is a lot different from 5 on 5, in that it is a lot harder to commit to a hard double team. When you do, you leave 1 person to defend 2. Hell if Bosh and LBJ were guarding MJ, and it was me and Pippen left to be defended by DWade, I could get you 2 or 3 points out of the 15 we needed.

You can tell the people who haven't watched Bosh in the last 10 games, as he is one the better interior D players in the league right now, and on the best defensive team in the league.
    People just hating.

i loved rodman's game when he was with the bulls. those who never saw him play might think he's just about the rebounds, but he flat out out-hustles everybody else on the court when he wants to. one of the most memorable images of him is him stretched out in the air, lunging after a loose ball and hes just horizontal to the ground.

and he gave karl malone a hard time in the finals, at a time when karl malone was probably at his peak in terms of skill and physical strength. dennis looked like he was half as thick as the mailman, but what he lacked in mass, he made up in mind games.

Lebron can't carry jordan's jock strap. Hell, Pippen was as good as any of those 3 for miami.

I dunno why Rodman even says stuff like this, it's a given that they would win.

Rodman would just stand around the rim and dunk the ball, you can't just not guard somebody in 3 on 3

No contest, that bulls team was wicked tough, this heat team is Charmin soft it would be a massacre

the bulls big 3 would destroy miami's, having other on the ball scorers when you have jordan, is utterly pointless, what you need is defense, rebounds and a decent shooting #2 from your big 3...sort of exactly what chicago had.

rodman was no offensive slouch - when he was on the pistons he consistently averaged 10 ppg and shot over 50%.

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/rodmade01.html

check out 91-92 - 9.8 ppg on 54% shooting and 18.7 rpg and 2.3 assists.

and i hate quitten, but some of yall arent giving him enough credit - i dont think lebron could dominate him the way some of yall think and i think quitten would make him work a little more too.

and you make miami play handchecking 90's rules and the bulls trio would make them cry like girls. you are talking about 3 of the best defensive players in nba history.
