I'm here Disappointed in you people, the crowd is just as a big as the last 2 years when they were on Monday..... Of course I know people that couldn't make it for good reasons No excuses
Dave, Wish I was there too but not a good weekend. Were you one of the first 500 to get in? Hopefully, they reward you with some good players. Those Yao and TMac autographs on our Iron Fan attendance balls need to be complimented with Artest's and Landry's.
I work about 10 min away from Toyota Center. I will skip work if you guys really need more fans. I'll be glad to. Let me know.
U r a good man steve at least u got season tixs Yea I was late and cheated and walked through the back entrance, the reward? Second 120 row 3 mid court Its 1240 and their still not out yet
I was kind of hoping R2K would be there recording. Man I wish I were there. Give us a play by play if you're there. Thanks.
I arrived a little after 1:00 after waiting over an hour last year. It was perfect timing. They just started introducing all the players. I only missed Wafer's introduction. I hope somebody will post video of the dance contest.
I was there. It was great. That's the closest I'll ever be to mid court. Got a signed Mike Harris tee!
I thought it was pretty awesome. I never realized just how big Joey Dorsey really is. I don't know why Bill Worell kept calling him Jackie Dorsey though. they had a 3 point contest, Rafer and a fan vs. Barry and a fan. The fan made more 3's than Rafer did, then Yao proceeded to school Rafer on how to shoot 3's. T-Mac made all the rookies dance at half court. during the practice Brooks completed a sweet alley-oop. Head had some pretty sweet dunks. Scola hit a 3pt. buzzer beater to win the scrimmage. Lots of other fun stuff. Good time.
I think the best play of the day was that sweet half court behind the back pass alley oops from Brent Barry to I forget who. He made it look so easy. My jaw dropped.
good lord. this year's scrimmage was worse than last. i didn't think it was possible. the whole thing was downright boring...except when the rooks were dancing.
I mentioned to Dave that I actually thought it was better than it has been the past couple of times. But I wasn't really referring to the quality of play...just to the fact that they played 2 halves and had a 3 point contest in the middle. Last year they only played one 10 minute session with a running clock. That was BS. By the way, I was only at the scrimmage itself, so I can't comment on anything else.
Yao, T-Mac, and Steve did not participate. Artest did, but he wasnt too active. A few threes here and there. Nothing grand.
kros, just out of curiosity did you not try out this year? I saw you with the old lady (which was amazing by the way) but I never saw you performing or anything..
