I actually get to catch an Astros game today. With work i've missed all but 2 or 3 games the last 3 weeks. It's been very frustrating. WWW
believe me, the frustration wasn't in missing them, it was in catching them. Hopefully they can make up a little ground on a pathetic team.
RM ...just sent u an email...give it one more look today and if they arent there, i think i can email them to you somehow.
Man, Brunlett should be given a chance to play everyday. He gots some pop and is fast. He is also gots good range and a strong arm. Bench Everett and start him.
HAHAHAHAHA! That was awesome! Sweet! 2 runs score. only 1 out, men at 2nd and 3rd! WHOOP! Way to go Lane!
Bad news, Jason Jennings no-hit me yesterday when I was playing OOTP. Or maybe it's good news, now that he's got it out of his system.
The Run has Begun!! Before we played KC, I mentioned our next 16 opponents are pretty "beatable": @KC (3), Colorado (3), Texas (3), @Colordao (3), @Cincinnati (4). Of course, all of those teams are probably looking at the Astros and saying the same thing, "Hey, we should beat those guys." Clemens should have 3 more starts (one in Colorado) and we should win all 3. Oswalt should have 3 starts (one in Colorado) and we should win at least 2/3 possibly all three if we can score against the Rangers. Backe and Pettitte have two starts left (Rangers and Reds). Rodriguez has three starts left. The Rangers series has us starting Oswalt, Backe, and Pettitte. All three of which should give us a chance to win their games if they pitch well and we can score some runs in support. Backe pitches better at home for some reason, so there's a good chance that if things go our way, we could sweep that series. Rodriguez might get lit up at Colorado, but he's pitched well as of late after he and Pettitte worked on his delivery. Too bad Oswalt isn't pitching against the Reds. Of course, all this is subject to change if we skip a starter (Rodriguez) with an off-day before playing the Rangers this weekend. From what we've seen in the past, Garner likes to give Clemens extra rest when he can.
