Btw that was also why I was ok with letting Adelman go. Any coach with half a brain should’ve seen that Lowry was far better than Brooks and started him unless he was going senile.

Far from it. Covington has reached his peak with 29 years.

Lowry was 22 or 23 when he came here.

In terms of impact, similarly but DD wasn't totally wrong, AB0 was pretty good that 1 year, injury derailed his career, it just so happened that the Houston Lowry wasn't his end version, just 70% of what he was about to become.

Toronto got the best version of Klow.

Roco and Copela aren't comparable IMO but Roco is the better fit with Westbrook.

I mean keeping Hardenstein would not have mattered as Harty didn't cut into any of Covington's minutes.

AB put up empty stats, like Capela. Lowry makes winning plays, like Covington.

Not fair to compare these two players: different positions, different size, different skill sets, coved-19 shortened season; But having said that, here are the numbers:

    Players..............................................................mins........pts........reb......stl............blk..........
    Capela (19/20 Rockets reg season)......................32.8 .......13.9.......13.8.......0.8............1.8.........
Covington (19/20 Rockets only reg season)........33.0........11.6........8.0........1.6............2.2....(includ seeding gms)
    Covington (19/20 Rockets - seeding gms only)...33.8.........9.5.........8.3.........2.5...........1.6.........

    Players...............................................................mins........pts.......reb........stl............blk..........
    Capela (18/19 Rockets playoffs)...........................30.1..........9.7.........10.3.......0.3...........1.1..........
    Covington (19/20 Rockets playoffs)......................32.5.........12.4.........5.9........2.6...........1.5..........

Summary: Rockets losing in rebounds so far in the trade off. Gained in pts, steals and blocks per PO game.
