Unselfish and can move effectively without the ball … Good athlete, 40 inch vertical, definitely athletic enough for the next level… Almost unstoppable on penetration ... Loves driving from the wing … An explosive finisher … Vision, finds an open man in scoring position… Viable threat from beyond the arc, shot in high 30s during his college career, but that needs to be improved for the next level… Biggest strength is shooting from the field, connecting on almost 50% of field goal shots at Kentucky … Strong free throw shooter … Loves the open court and fast break style … Has potential to play a shooting guard and fill in at small forward because of his rugged frame and a knack for getting rebounds. Weaknesses: Defensively Azuibuike's intensity level leaves a lot to be desired... He improved in his junior season but is still weak... Needs to improve in half court, this could be accomplished by becoming more consistent from beyond the arc, but he seems like he could be better suited for the pro game than the college game …Lacks great size for the shooting guard psoition at 6-4 or so ... Despite warnings from pretty much everyone, Azuibuike entered the draft and signed an agent ... Returning to UK would have given him a real shot as a first rounder in 2006, and given his NBA potential a boost ... "
No I was looking at season ticket seating. Bit the bullet so we will have some tickets to offer from time to time to other clutchfans. I am happy!
JVG is trying to show us a new side - small ball galore - run our oppenents to the ground ala Phoenix Or maybe they just do not trust Sura's body hold up. Or they are about to trade Head. Or they are doing due deligence. Or Morey being Morey. Or CD being CD.
This is nothing. I'm sure teams work out guys all the time doing due diligence. Its obvious that we are looking for someone who can absorb 20+ minutes at the 2 spot with some size. I think he will at best be training camp fodder. I just cant get excited about players like this. I think houston should be doing everything to add someone, JR Smith was basically given away, we should have taken a waiver on him, anyone. I think Snyder might be a steal but thinking he will play 30+ minutes a night is crazy. I see him playing about 25 a night and starting, but prolly the team finishes with Tmac at the 2 and Battier at the 3.
Extremely athletic player...although, he never reached his potential at UK...could be an interesting player in a couple years.
The guy can dunk! <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FpEPl_qEh7U"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FpEPl_qEh7U" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
Guy can surely crash the lanes and dunk... but i heard steal from chuck hayes or rebound from chuck hayes... maybe chuck gave him a word in for the rox
its 4.99 now......they're taking advantage of us. for 2.99 that was cool. then 3.99....that was cool.....soon it will be 8 bucks
I hardly see the need for trying out anyone who is only a tail end player! By now,the Rockets should be desperate to get BIG MAN help. Yao Ming needs help and Mutombo has limited playing life left in his legs.I understood that we were going to get a decent Power Forward who would be defensive minded and help Yao to guard the paint. What ever happened to this line of thinking?
I wish they can bring Haryasz in training camp, he seems to be quick, athletic, with great coordination, a good enough outside shoot and he hustle a lot too. His blocked shot for the win in one of the summer league's game was cool. I think he can be a good replacement for Bowen.
