If the quality of play on this team improved, then we might have a shot to get past the T-Wolves. But with the way we have played, the chemistry is crap. JVG better lay down the law in the offseason and let the team know who are the go-to players are and who are the role players.
some of ya are something else lol we're not even in the damn playoffs yet and when we do get in, it'll be facing the leagues elite in the first round considering we haven't been to the playoffs for 5 years, I think its fair to give them a season or so failing at it until we can get a more experienced team to get past that first round here's to simply making the playoffs

Actually, that isn't true. You can even look at the Rockets for proof of that. The struggled with falling out of the first round of the playoffs before winning back-to-back championships and the only real changes in the personnel was the addition of Sam Cassell, a guy who didn't even supplant Scott Brooks as the back up point guard until 2/3rd's of the way through his rookie season. Re-building means ditching the majority of your roster and starting over. The Rockets certainly need tweaking, but they don't need to trade off the majority of their roster. That would be a significant step backwards. Championship rosters, despite what some think, are built slowly, not quickly.
Exactly Jeff I'am with you, slowly but surely we get a true Smalll Forward and a Playmaker Point Guard that plays defence.Just tweaking not rebuilding thats all that is required.
In my opinion, if the Rockets face Minny in the first round, the Rockets will advance. If we face the Lakers in the first round, it'll probably go to 7 games. Anybody else, it's a first round exit for the Rockets.
The Playoffs are out of reach for this team. The starters are playing horribly, the bench has been a joke. The Rockets were a much better team with Kelvin Cato in the lineup, but the injury bug has hit, and will likely get worse in the next few weeks. The refs have been sh*t too. But good teams find ways overcome stuff like that. Why? Because they have guts. The Rockets had that earlier in the season. Remember when they were leading the league in defense? They had sack back then; but that edge is gone now. Teams are scoring at will. The horrible design of this team is coming through. Pathetic, the playoffs are gone.
Sigh, ZRB, I kind of agree with you. The playoff spot is slipping. These guys have no heart and easily collapse under pressure.
